Fit For A King Crushes Detroit With One Unforgettable Night
November 15th was stacked from the second doors opened. 156/Silence kicked things off and honestly did exactly what an opener should do, zero hesitation, zero warming up. They came out swinging and immediately had the crowd moving even though half the people were still trying to find their spot.
Spite went on next and the whole room just… shifted. You could literally feel the energy get heavier. Darius is insane live in the best possible way and the crowd fed off it. The pit went from “maybe” to “oh god, here we go” in about ten seconds and was honestly my favorite set of the night.
Make Them Suffer absolutely owned their set. They’re one of those bands that sound unreasonably good live. clean vocals, screams, everything. When they hit “Epitaph,” the whole place lit up. Definitely one of the tightest sets of the night.
Then Fit For A King came out and just destroyed. Their live sound is so dialed in it’s crazy. Kirby’s vocals were on point the whole time, and every breakdown hit harder than the last. The crowd was loud, pits nonstop, and everyone actually looked like they were having the best night of their life. You could tell the band was feeding off it too. Overall every band showed up, no skips, no weak links. Just a genuinely solid show start to finish. Royal Oak doesn’t always get crowds this high-energy, but tonight everyone was locked in. It was loud, it was stupidly fun, and every band earned that reaction

Unfortunately, experienced memory card issues during their set and was not able to recover the photos.
