The Plot In You Haven’t Forgotten Fort Wayne Just Yet

“Truly some of the best talent in one room for an incredible night of music.”

September 9th I was invited to cover the Fort Wayne, Indiana show for The Plot In You’s North American tour. From start to end it was a truly unforgettable night of music and entertainment.

Kicking things off, Windwaker (not to be mistaken for Wind Walkers) took the stage with RAW energy. From catchy rapped verses to deep gutturals, they impressed the crowd immediately. It’s not every show that the opener brings “headline” energy, but they did.

Up next were legends Invent Animate. With soaring clean vocals and low-tuned guitars, they had the crowd off their feet in no time. Playing top songs like “Heavener” and “Without A Whisper” they were a perfect fit leading into the night.

The final opener for the evening was Australian 4 piece “Northlane”. From the get go we were thrown into 45 minutes of low guitars, synths, lights, and multiple circle pits. By the end of their set the room was energized and ready for the finale.

At 9:30 PM the lights went down and the crowd erupted. Opening with “Spare Me” the band called immediately for crowd surfers and people began pouring to the front of the stage. We got a brief break for the intro of their new song “Silence” before heading right back into the hits. They closed the set per usual with their hit song “ Feel Nothing” and front to back the crowd was screaming every word.

Overall this was one of the best put together tour packages I’ve seen. From opener to headliner there truly wasn’t a slow moment. I highly suggest seeing them if you haven’t already!
