Hollywood Undead are back with their newest single, “Feels Like Home”, released through Sumerian Records. The track leans into the band’s emotional side, blending melodic hooks with the raw energy that has defined their sound for years. Built around themes of isolation, survival, and finding comfort in shared struggles, the song feels both personal and anthemic at the same time.

Hollywood Undead - Feels Like Home
What stands out the most about “Feels Like Home”is how naturally it blends vulnerability with the band’s signature intensity. Hollywood Undead have always thrived in that space between chaos and honesty, and this track pushes further into that emotional territory without losing the punch their fans expect. The chorus feels massive, the production hits hard, and lyrically it captures that feeling of becoming so familiar with pain that it almost starts to feel comforting.
Speaking on the release, the band had this to share:
“Feels Like Home is about getting used to the things that are slowly breaking you. It’s a song for the broken, a reminder that they’re not alone and that with us, they’re right at home.”
Personally, I believe “Feels Like Home” is one of the band’s more emotionally grounded releases in recent years. It still carries that explosive rap-rock energy, but there’s a heaviness underneath it that gives the track a lot more staying power after the first listen.
When I first listened to the song, it instantly reminded me of their song Bullet. The two tracks share a very similar tone, both built on that dark, melodic energy that defines some of Hollywood Undead’s most intense work.
What stood out to me the most about the song is the chorus. I truly haven’t been able to get it out of my head. As stated prior by the band, “Feels Like Home” is about getting used to things that slowly break you down. Eventually you just give in to the fact that you can’t get the help you sought for, and you just live with it. It begins to feel like home at that point, like you truly aren’t meant to get the help you need and want.
“I’ve been in the trenches
Broken and defenseless
Why does feeling helpless
Feel like home
Can’t come to my senses
Wide awake and restless
Why does feeling helpless
Feel like home
