Hillhaven Releases Powerful Visualizer for new single “Liar”
Hillhaven is a band comprised of a killer lineup with lead vocalist Chris Kelly; From Ashes to New’s drummer Maty Madiro on drums; From Ashes to New tour guitarist Jimmy Bennett; Ricky Armellino on guitar; and Bassist Jaime GoWell and they just released a powerful black and white “visualizer” to go with their fifth single and new release “Liar”. If you are sensitive to flashing lights and quick transitions you may want to audio stream this one, but it is a dark and intense banger that is worth a repeat spot on your playlist.
Vocalist Chris Kelly had strong thoughts on this release: "Musically and lyrically, this song ventures into some darker territory," says singer Chris Kelly. "I think we all tend to try and ignore certain parts of ourselves or of those we love. Stuff that scares us — stuff we're ashamed of. Our strongest instinct is self-preservation and egos don't take kindly to things that might break them. They fight back — hard — but oftentimes that fear or shame finally breaks through and we're suddenly forced to look at ourselves and quite literally FACE that darkness. That's when we're at our lowest. This track was born from the bottom, and from the climb back into the light, where we find our motivation again."
This latest track follows “Damned to Dream”, “The God You Think You Are” “GAPS” and “SYCOPHANTS”. These tracks are sure to land on your must-listens soon if they haven’t already.
