PLUME Signs to Arising Empire as Lost In Hollywood Release New Single “Can You Feel The Pain”

Arising Empire has announced the addition of German alternative act PLUME to its roster while also sharing new music from existing artists Lost In Hollywood, who have released their latest single, “Can You Feel The Pain.”

The signing marks an important moment for PLUME, who arrive on the label with the release of their new single “Digital Waterboarding.” The track introduces listeners to the band’s genre-blurring approach, where glossy electronic textures meet heavier, distorted elements without settling comfortably into any single lane.

Fronted by vocalist Pascal Pashaee, the quartet also features guitarist David Riederer, keyboardist Luka Lorch, and drummer Richard Kilian. Together, the band leans into a sound that mixes pop instincts with darker, more abrasive production choices, pairing melodic hooks with fractured rhythms and digital noise.

“Digital Waterboarding” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Manuel Renner at überlärm Studios, whose past work includes artists such as Electric Callboy, Avralize, and Our Promise

The track pushes into a space where electronic experimentation and heavy music intersect, balancing polished synth layers with moments of controlled chaos.

Early reactions have already pointed to the band’s distinctive direction. Paranoyd Magazine described the project as an atmospheric experience that lingers long after the music ends, while MoreCore noted the group’s ability to carve out a style that feels uniquely their own.

The band will also be bringing the new material to the stage with several upcoming shows in Germany, including stops in Munich and Stuttgart this spring.

Alongside the PLUME announcement, Lost In Hollywood have returned with their latest single, “Can You Feel The Pain,” taken from their upcoming self-titled album, which is scheduled for release on March 20.

The new track continues the momentum the band has been building over the past year. Leaning into a darker tone, the song balances heavy moments with melody while maintaining the emotional intensity that has become central to the band’s sound. Built around shifting dynamics and a steady sense of tension, the track moves between atmospheric passages and heavier bursts without losing its focus.

To celebrate the release, the band will host a special show at Hamburg’s Passage Kino, transforming the historic cinema into an unusual setting for fans to experience the new material live.

With new music arriving and a busy touring schedule ahead, the band continues to build its presence within the modern metalcore scene as anticipation grows for the release of their upcoming album.
