Buckcherry embarks on the final leg of the Roar Like Thunder Tour

Buckcherry has announced the last leg of their ROAR LIKE THUNDER TOUR, continuing the momentum from their earlier LET IT ROAR TOUR in support of their latest record, Roar Like Thunder. The next phase promises to deliver the same high-energy performances that fans have come to expect as the band returns to stages across North America. The first leg of the tour launches in May, before resuming with the second leg later this summer.

As a part of their summer schedule, Buckcherry will share the stage with a range of notable artists, including a nine show stretch with Black Stone Cherry and Tyler Bryant.

In addition, the band will also make several major festival appearances including Rockin’ The Island Festival in Welch, Minnesota, where they will open for grunge legends Stone Temple Pilots, as well as a performance with Bret Michaels at the Beaver Dam Amphitheater in Beaver Dam, Kentucky for the band’s annual appearance at the Sturgis Buffalo Chip during Sturgis Bike Week. Buckcherry will also take the stage at Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oklahoma, further solidifying their presence on the summer festival circuit.

Closing out the year, the band will join The Scorpions as direct support for their eight show Las Vegas residency from September 17 through October 3. It will be an exciting and memorable finale to a tour packed year.

Hailing from California, Buckcherry has been a long-time fixture in the hard rock landscape. Known for massive hard rock hits like “Crazy Bitch” and “Sorry,” the band has built a reputation for their unapologetic sound and consistency for staying engaged in the scene. Formed in 1995 after vocalist Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson were introduced through a mutual tattoo artist, they quickly gained traction with early demos and recruiting the rest of the founding band members to develop their signature sound.

Over the entirety of their three decade career, the band has stayed true to themselves with their 90s post-grunge era roots, while maintaining a modern edge in the ever-evolving genre. Since then, they have amassed a historic amount of career highlights including opening for Lenny Kravitz in 1999, participating in the infamous Woodstock 99 festival, and opening for AC/DC on their tour in 2000. They have been nominated for major awards like the Grammy’s and Billboard Music Video Awards, and have won multiple awards across their career including the Kerrang! Music Awards, a BMI award, and two BDS Spin Awards over the span of their eleven studio albums.

Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Milwaukee, WI. I’ve never known life without a camera in my hands and music in my ears. Music is something that I always felt passionate about and fell in love with how music can connect so many people from all different walks of life. At a very young age, I found my mom’s VHS camcorder and filmed anything and everything. Later in life, I became a wedding videographer and continued to do that for 5 years. While doing this helped me hone my craft, I always had a pull in the back of my mind to music photography. That's when I decided to bring my two passions together and got into music photography. I hope to help continue bringing people together and amplifying the voices and stories of all of the people and artists I am inspired by, and those I have yet to find.
