Dayseeker is back and ready to dance with the Devil with their latest track, “Pale Moonlight.” As the first release from the band this year, “Pale Moonlight” is a force to be reckoned with. While maintaining elements of their signature sound, like pop-like synths and anthemic choruses, the song ventures into new tonal territory and builds anticipation for more to come from Dayseeker.
Produced by Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox, Silent Planet) and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Lorna Shore), the song starts with ominous synth tones that build as the haunting vocals amplify the dark and heavy lyrics.
“At the end of every dream, there’s a demon saying I didn’t need help to ruin my life.
Dancing with the devil in the pale moonlight.”
The chorus is an anthem for fighting your own demons when battling against toxic things in your life that you feel like you just can’t live without. Per usual, the band designed an absolutely brutal breakdown with terrifying yet perfectly executed screams that lead right back into the emotionally charged chorus.
"'Pale Moonlight' is about giving in to your vices," stated vocalist Rory Rodriguez. "It's about the addiction to things that you know are toxic for you — but you simply can't stop yourself."

The song is paired with an equally as enchanting music video, directed by Jensen Noen, who has previously worked with heavy-hitters like Bring Me the Horizon, Falling In Reverse, and Black Veil Brides.
Based in a futuristic world, the video encapsulates the lyrics from the song “Trade My Soul for a Dream.” The video follows Rory as he relives the memory of someone from his past, but at a cost.
While there haven’t been any official announcements about more music releases, you can expect more to come from this once-in-a-lifetime band.
