Black Veil Brides usher in a bold new chapter with the release of their latest single, “Vindicate,” their most sinful offering to date from the upcoming Vindicate album, arriving May 8, 2026 via Spinefarm.

Marking their seventh full-length studio album, Vindicate is set to be the band’s most defining work of art so far in their long-standing career. While staying true to the heart of the Black Veil Brides signature sound, this record will give you an emotionally layered experience led by brooding cinematics and soaring melodies.

Described by vocalist Andy Biersack, "This record is rooted in the feelings of revenge and vindication. These are emotions that can either push us forward or hold us back. There’s a duality to them. They can fuel growth, drive ambition, and help us rise above what’s tried to break us, but they can also become destructive if we let them consume us."

“Each song explores a different side of that struggle. Sometimes it’s about getting even with someone else, sometimes it’s about confronting ourselves and our past, our pain, or the things that were done to us. At its core, though, this album is about resilience.”

"It's for anyone who's ever had their dreams doubted or their fire challenged by people who couldn’t see their vision. We're all born with that spark. The world will try to take that away at times, but this record is about holding onto it, fighting back, and turning those struggles into something powerful."

Alongside the album announcement, the band unveiled the title track, “Vindicate,” accompanied by a visceral, not-so-safe-for-work music video directed by George Gallardo Kattah. After setting the scene ablaze early in their career, Black Veil Brides continue to reinvent themselves with each passing era. Composed of vocalist Andy Biersack, guitarists Jinxx and Jake Pitts, bassist Lonny Eagleton, and drummer Christian “CC” Coma, the band continuously proves that they are one of the pinnacle threads that hold the fabric of the scene together, while repeatedly pushing the boundaries. Not only were they responsible for bringing back elements of glam rock like heavy black makeup, body paint, and leather pants, but they forged the path for creating without resistance and without conforming to the expectation of others. With cult classics like “In The End” and “Pens and Knives,” the band challenged the status quo with force. Their fierce passion for storytelling through theatrics and dark fantasies continue to define them as they consistently evolve to the next level.

Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Milwaukee, WI. I’ve never known life without a camera in my hands and music in my ears. Music is something that I always felt passionate about and fell in love with how music can connect so many people from all different walks of life. At a very young age, I found my mom’s VHS camcorder and filmed anything and everything. Later in life, I became a wedding videographer and continued to do that for 5 years. While doing this helped me hone my craft, I always had a pull in the back of my mind to music photography. That's when I decided to bring my two passions together and got into music photography. I hope to help continue bringing people together and amplifying the voices and stories of all of the people and artists I am inspired by, and those I have yet to find.
