Detroit’s own Alice Cooper has been a household name for over half of a century now, with hits like “School’s Out” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy” that quite literally everyone and their mother knows; Cooper is still rocking like it’s 1969 with no plans to stop performing anytime soon.

Previously on the road with Joe Perry, Johnny Depp, and Tommy Henriksen for their HOLLYWOOD VAMPIRES tour (which just recently added two dates), Cooper goes on to announce a new tour, a limited time residency in Las Vegas, and a new addition to the team.

Starting in just a few weeks, the upcoming tour ALICE’S ATTIC is set to stop across nineteen different cities in the US. Cooper will be taking a small break in between to join illusionist Criss Angel for another set of his WELCOME TO OUR NIGHTMARE shows at Angel’s theatre in Planet Hollywood before going on a European leg of the tour starting early June of this year.

Although Cooper’s longtime partner and guitarist, Nita Strauss, will not be joining him for this round of shows, it’s all for good reason as Strauss will be welcoming her first child this summer (Congratulations!). While she is on maternity leave, Cooper announces 22-year-old British guitarist Anna Cara will be taking her place. Cara made her debut with Alice for the first round of the WELCOME TO OUR NIGHTMARE shows, and will be alongside him for the rest of this year.

Originating from Newcastle, England, Anna Cara began playing guitar at just 14 years old. Earning herself a following through social media, Cara has gone on to work with Marc Storace from the band Krokus and Alice Cooper’s own Tommy Henriksen; just one of the many reasons that proves she’s more than capable for the job. Anna expressing "This is like a dream come true, Back at 14, I was watching Alice Cooper live shows on YouTube dreaming of joining one day. Nita Strauss is a tough act to follow but she has been so encouraging to me this past month, so l’m really looking forward to showing everyone who I am and what I can do."

Cooper can’t take all the credit for finding such amazing talent, as he says it was Strauss who suggested her as a replacement.

Nita sharing "When I was asked in an interview who I thought was the best up and coming guitarist, I had no hesitation in answering 'Anna Cara’. Anna's precision and soulful, emotional playing will make her an amazing asset to the tour”.

Amidst all the buzz, Cooper promises for more shows this fall, expecting to be announced soon. It is quite impressive that at 76, not much has changed since Alice first took stage. He’s still very much holding up to his name of “Pioneer of Theatrical Rock”. It’s not every day you have the chance to see not only a music history legend live, but an up and coming one along side them as well. Be sure to check out Alice and Anna at a show near you!
