WE ARE “HEAD OVER HEELS” FOR STARSET’S TEARS FOR FEARS COVER

STARSET has reimagined the 80’s English pop stars Tears for Fears classic track “Head Over Heels.”

In celebration of the song’s 40th anniversary, STARSET’s cover takes a timeless classic and reanimates it into something unrecognizable with the help of their signature futuristic sound. The haunting and melancholy sci-fi tones completely change the feeling of the song. What was once a poppy love song has now turned into a somber sonnet.

In case you missed it, this cover follows the band's previous releases of "TOKSIK," "BRAVE NEW WORLD," "DEGENERATE," and "dark things."

Columbus, Ohio-based rockers STARSET have set the standard for band branding with their ever-evolving media universe. Their art goes beyond the music, branching to all areas of media to create a collection of pieces that share the story of STARSET. They continue to build the archive of their empire following their RIAA Platinum-selling hit “My Demons” (2012) and their RIAA Gold-selling track “It Has Begun” (2014), which catapulted the group into the scene. We can’t wait to see what they have planned next.

Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Milwaukee, WI. I’ve never known life without a camera in my hands and music in my ears. Music is something that I always felt passionate about and fell in love with how music can connect so many people from all different walks of life. At a very young age, I found my mom’s VHS camcorder and filmed anything and everything. Later in life, I became a wedding videographer and continued to do that for 5 years. While doing this helped me hone my craft, I always had a pull in the back of my mind to music photography. That's when I decided to bring my two passions together and got into music photography. I hope to help continue bringing people together and amplifying the voices and stories of all of the people and artists I am inspired by, and those I have yet to find.
