CATch your breath releases “[Gen]Inside” featuring KAMI KEHOE

When the world feels heavy with blame you don’t deserve, music can be the spark that sets you free. Hard rock band Catch Your Breath from Texas have released their most cathartic track yet, “[Gen]Inside”, featuring the electrifying Kami Kehoe. Dropped on Friday, 17 April via Thriller Records, the single arrives with a cinematic music video that promises to hit as hard as the song itself.

The band have built their reputation on raw honesty and intense energy, and “[Gen]Inside” takes this to new heights. The track captures the suffocating frustration of being trapped in someone else’s chaos — and the exhilarating moment when you reclaim your voice. With pounding riffs and a soaring vocal blend, the song is a journey from quiet endurance to unapologetic strength.

Midway through the track, the emotion becomes palpable. Vocalist Josh Mowery shares the inspiration behind it:

This song is for anyone who’s ever been blamed for the damage someone else caused… for anyone who was told to stay quiet, stay small, or stay on their knees just to keep the peace. If you’ve ever stood in the ruins of something you didn’t break and wondered why you were the one hurting, I want you to remember something — you’re not the problem. Sometimes the truth is simple. The world didn’t fall apart because of you… it fell apart because someone else was holding the gun.
