Dead Eyes release new single ‘Black Hole Heart,’ ahead of announcing new album of the same name
Baltimore’s favorite rock band Dead Eyes are back with yet another earworm track, ‘Black Hole Heart,’ at the same time as announcing their new album by the same name.
Following on from multiple single releases this year from ‘Thanks for Nothing,’ ‘Take Me Too,’ and ‘Good Die Young’ comes ‘Black Hole Heart.’ Through each release that Dead Eyes have done, one thing remains the same – it will pull at every emotion you have, speaking exactly how you feel in that exact moment.
The track also kicks off the official announcement of their upcoming full-length album, Black Hole Heart, due out on October 10th "Black Hole Heart" is the song that captured what Dead Eyes have always been struggling to create through the process: that sometimes loving something means destroying it. The song confronts the terrible sinking realization when the intensity that is meant to safeguard what you love becomes what ultimately tears it all apart.
The upcoming album builds around "Black Hole Heart" as its gravitational pull, with every other song pulling toward this central confession about the impossibility of loving without risk. The track serves as an emotional anchor and the creative breakthrough that shaped the entire album, showing Dead Eyes will always try to confront their most destructive tendencies. The record sheds light on the reality of being someone who breaks what they hold close.
