Bodysnatcher's "The Maker" Welcomes You to Upcoming Album "Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home"

The ever gnashing teeth of South Florida deathcore band, Bodysnatcher are grinning at us in welcome. As they wrapped up their Australian tour with Fit For An Autopsy (A tour that was absolutely amazing on the US run, I must say) they have thrown open the door to their next chapter. With open arms Bodysnatcher is debuting a new album “Hell is Here, Hell is Home” by asking if you're ready to meet “The Maker”.

Pre-save “Hell is Here, Hell is Home”

Bodysnatcher has a long and storied history making music about the brutal reality of living. Never ones to shy away from making outspoken tracks about adversity, from their initial EP ‘Abandonment’ where they tackle familial betrayal and those who capitalize on misery, to ‘Vile Conduct’ which is a raging takedown of society's failures.

Listen to “The Maker"

“The band has always had roots lyrically in themes of betrayal, overcoming hardship, and moving on from things that happen in life and how to cope with them,” explains Medina. “Ever since the inception of Bodysnatcher, that was the theme. I do think, though, as the band has matured and we as people have grown, so have the ways to dig into the themes more. With more life experience there are more things to draw from.”

That maturity shows in how polished the latest release is. The instrumentals are clear, you can hear the bass below the crashing cymbals, the vocals can be understood (if you speak gator), and the guitar is hitting those absolute bone rattling chugs without overwhelming everything. The way the low sections hit that domineering attitude will have you making the most delighted stank face. When Kyle M. gets to the point of asking “Are you scared?” My answer is almost yes. The lyrics clearly maintain that history of facing our morbid reality. Angrily they demand to confront the enemies of us all, those faceless enemies leading us to ruination. It's empowering in its unyielding rage. The kind of song that sings to the blood and demands payment for all those who would oppress us.

The music video is a degree of reality, with a satisfying dash of personal wish fulfillment. Simple in its focus on the band but sending a clear and powerful message. The plot has no room for misunderstanding as the video opens with a series of newspaper articles of a corrupt pastor and ends in immolation. It doesn't need to do more than that to show where Bodysnatcher stands, and I like the clarity. It shows that you don't need an over the top show to prove a point. It doesn't turn their stance into a gimmick.

Of course no new album release is complete without a tour, and Bodysnatcher will be making plenty of on stage appearances this year. Their 'Hell Is Here, Hell Is Home' EU/UK headliner in March with PSYCHO-FRAME, Ingested and Big Ass Truck as support. Then they're fanning the flames across the US during the Chaos & Carnage 2026 tour across North America alongside Thy Art Is Murder, Carnifex, 200 Stab Wounds, Ingested, Gates To Hell, and Bodybox starting Saturday, May 2. Tickets for both are currently on sale (and I will personally be living it up on May 17th.)

I also want to make a quick note of the presale package because that baseball bat will be mine.
