LOSE YOURSELF IN CATCH YOUR BREATH’S DEVASTATING NEW TRACK - “LOST”

Austin, TX hard-rockers Catch Your Breath debuted their latest single, “Lost,” via Thriller Records on January 23, 2026.

Serving as an anthem for broken and lonely hearts, “Lost” plunges into the emotional aftermath of a relationship that ends without explanation or warning. The track captures the lingering sorrow from a lack of closure and the hole it leaves behind that can haunt you as you work to decipher any meaning to their absence, and the spiraling search for meaning can be a lonely path to walk.

Vocalist Josh Mowery explained the inspiration behind the song, sharing, “This one is for the ones who lost a piece of them without being able to try to fix it, left alone, in the dark, lost without them."

In true Catch Your Breath fashion, “Lost” showcases the perfect balance of emotionally charged lyrics with powerful guitar riffs and a pounding melody that carries the emotion to an even darker place. The result is a crushing and immersive track that pulls the listener deeper into the shadows of vulnerability.

Composed of frontman Josh Mowery, guitarist Teddy Herra, bassist Cianan Madigan, and drummer Onell Hernandez, Catch Your Breath has become one of the most-watched up-and-comers over the last few years. Their debut single, “Shame On Me,” sent their career into orbit, catapulting them onto the scene. The follow-up to this standout track was one of their fan-favorites and most-streamed songs, “Dial Tone,” which has amassed over 100 million streams and counting.

Every track that Catch Your Breath releases is a brilliant combination of deep, emotionally charged lyricism and heavy and bold melodies. They’ve perfected their signature sound early in their career, but are never stagnant. They continue to develop that mold while creating tracks that evolve with them and each new sonic direction they approach.

Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Milwaukee, WI. I’ve never known life without a camera in my hands and music in my ears. Music is something that I always felt passionate about and fell in love with how music can connect so many people from all different walks of life. At a very young age, I found my mom’s VHS camcorder and filmed anything and everything. Later in life, I became a wedding videographer and continued to do that for 5 years. While doing this helped me hone my craft, I always had a pull in the back of my mind to music photography. That's when I decided to bring my two passions together and got into music photography. I hope to help continue bringing people together and amplifying the voices and stories of all of the people and artists I am inspired by, and those I have yet to find.
