Heavy Hitters: August Burns Red Reveal Final Christmas Burns Red 2025 Lineup
Get ready to deck the halls with breakdowns—August Burns Red’s highly anticipated holiday event, Christmas Burns Red, is back for 2025 with a freshly finalized lineup. After drawing a record-breaking crowd of over 6,000 fans in 2024, the annual metalcore celebration returns to Freedom Hall at the Lancaster County Convention Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on December 12 and 13. With more momentum than ever, this year’s fest is shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable editions yet.
This year’s Christmas Burns Red comes with added significance, as August Burns Red celebrates two major milestones: the 20th anniversary of Thrill Seeker and the 10th anniversary of Found In Far Away Places. To mark the occasion, ABR will spotlight five songs from each album on their respective nights, giving fans a rare opportunity to hear deep cuts alongside fan favorites. Each night will also feature unique setlists, pulling from across the band’s extensive catalog—including a few of their signature Christmas tracks—making both nights a must-see for longtime followers.

The Christmas Burns Red 2025 lineup is officially here, and as both a longtime fan of this scene and a diehard concertgoer, I can confidently say—it’s one of the most exciting yet. Day 1 (December 12) is stacked from top to bottom, with August Burns Red headlining and a seriously strong supporting lineup. Currents are easily one of my personal favorites right now—emotionally charged, technically sharp, and always powerful live. Invent Animate will no doubt bring their signature ambient heaviness, but I’m especially pumped for The Callous Daoboys and Psycho Frame. The Daoboys are chaotic in the best way—genre-defying and unpredictable, which makes them an absolute blast on stage. And if you're into pure aggression and raw energy, Psycho Frame is going to hit hard. No Cure rounds out the night with that gritty hardcore edge, setting a brutal tone early on.
Day 2 (December 13) flips the script with a completely different ABR set and a lineup that leans a bit more diverse, but just as heavy. Animals as Leaders are a wild addition—instrumental prog at its finest—and I’m beyond stoked to see Boundaries tear up the stage. If you’ve seen them live before, you already know how intense and emotionally heavy their set gets. Left To Suffer and War Of Ages are bringing that crushing, pit-friendly energy, and Rev3nent is a solid up-and-comer worth checking out. With two full days of unique lineups, deep ABR cuts, and a mix of rising stars and scene staples, Christmas Burns Red 2025 is shaping up to be the end-of-year event for metalcore fans like me—and probably you, too.
