KEITH WALLEN OF BREAKING BENJAMIN COVERS AVRIL LAVIGNE’S “I’M WITH YOU”
Breaking Benjamin guitarist Keith Wallen unveiled his cover of Avril Lavigne’s nostalgic classic “I’m With You.”
Following the release of his solo album Infinity Now, which debuted last May (2024) via Rise Records, Wallen shared the single “Us Against the World,” along with its accompanying music video earlier this spring. Now he has released another track, this time, a cover of an Avril Lavigne classic.
After first debuting in 2002, “I’m With You” continues to be a fan favorite of Lavigne’s and a chart topping hit for the time. For many, this song made a lifelong impression, including Keith Wallen.
"'I'm With You' is a song that takes us all back to the early 2000s," explains Wallen. "We were younger and ready to take on the world. I remember where I was when I first heard the song, which to me makes it a timeless work of art. It was fun to record this and live in that moment for a little while again."

Keith Wallen will be on tour from July 18 through August 16 with CYB and Shaman’s Harvest.

About Keith Wallen
Keith Wallen is a long-time songwriter who has an extensive background in music history. He is the genius behind many successful bands and songs of the last few decades.
Before his time with rock legends Breaking Benjamin, Wallen was a member of another massive group of the early 2000s, Adelitas Way. He has also collaborated with a variety of groups, including work with Saint Asonia, Fuel, We Came As Romans, Red, Dorothy, and Brian “Head” Welch of Korn.
In addition to that, he also has a booming solo career. Prior to Infinity Now, Wallen released his debut EP Allies back in 2014 and his debut solo album This World Or The Next in 2021. “Dream Away,” a track featured on This World Or The Next, garnered over 1.4 million streams on Spotify alone.
Wallen continues to push the standard for songwriting and builds his empire of legendary rock and roll hits.
