Hot Milk releases new single ‘Swallow This’ ahead of new album Corporation P.O.P.

Hailing from Manchester’s finest quartet, HOT MILK (Han, Jim, Zach, and JK) release the second single ahead of the new album in June this year. ‘Swallow This’ is a protest song highlighting issues against the world leaders and how they corrupt our thoughts and are hell-bent with issues in the world.  

Starting the song with a different electronic sound before bursting into the lyrics ‘Swallow this for the disconnection, brick by brick build a broken nation,’ which emphasizes many of the issues of the current state of this world, bringing truth to the lyrics.  This is by far the heaviest and most raw offering yet, bursting with unapologetic lyrics and much unfiltered lyrics. This is a snapshot of the gloominess going on in the world right now. 

Self-produced by Hot Milk’s own Jim, Zach, and JK, this is nothing short of an anti-song and the much-loved sound that we know and love from Hot Milk.  Heavy on the electro and blasting guitars with the screaming and singing from Han, this is the perfect mix for this anthem.  

Ahead of the release of their new album, the band has a string of US shows and UK shows coming up, including Slam Dunk later next month. Corporation P.O.P. is based solely in their hometown of Manchester and Salford—this is set to be their most personal and heaviest album yet.
