Rocklahoma Turns 20 With Slayer, Godsmack, and Papa Roach Leading the 2026 Lineup

One of America’s longest-running rock festivals is hitting a major milestone this year. Rocklahoma will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a lineup absolutely stacked with legacy acts, fan favorites, and newer artists representing several corners of the rock and metal scene.

The three-day festival will return to Rockin’ Red Dirt Ranch in Pryor, Oklahoma from September 4 through September 6. Godsmack, Papa Roach, and Slayer are set to headline the weekend, bringing a mix of hard rock and metal heavyweights to the festival’s milestone year. The celebration will begin even earlier with the DEB Concerts Thursday Night Throwdown Kick-Off Party on September 3, giving fans an extra night to settle into the festival atmosphere before the main weekend begins.

Slayer’s appearance carries additional significance for longtime metal fans. In 2026 the band will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their landmark album “Reign in Blood” one of the most influential thrash metal releases of all time. The record helped define the sound of extreme metal in the late 1980s and yet still remains a staple for fans of the genre decades later.

Papa Roach will also mark a notable return to the festival. The band has not performed at Rocklahoma since 2015, making their upcoming appearance a long-awaited comeback for fans who have followed the group’s evolution from the early 2000s nu-metal boom to their current modern rock sound.

Beyond the headliners, Rocklahoma’s 20th anniversary lineup spans several generations of rock music. The festival continues its tradition of blending established names with rising acts and genre-crossing performers.

Artists confirmed for the event include Stone Temple Pilots, Cypress Hill, Dropkick Murphys, Insane Clown Posse, Black Label Society, The Pretty Reckless, Hollywood Undead, Yelawolf, Pennywise, Wolfmother, Jet, Suicidal Tendencies, Black Veil Brides, President, Living Colour, Buckcherry, Black Stone Cherry, Ugly Kid Joe, Crossfade, Slaughter, Molly Hatchet, Dexter and the Moonrocks, Militarie Gun, Barbarians of California, Plush, Tim Montana, Ill Niño, Teen Mortgage, Ozzolution, Cyco Miko, Autumn Kings, Big Ass Truck, Cowboy Angels, The Violent Hour, High June, Eternal Frequency, She Hates Me Not, Luscious, Fire Tiger, and School of Rock.

Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix shared his excitement about returning to the festival stage after more than a decade.

“The guys and I are beyond excited to return to Rocklahoma 2026 alongside such a killer lineup. It will be our first time since 2015, over a decade. So make sure to grab your tickets fast.”

The Pretty Reckless vocalist Taylor Momsen also reflected on what makes the festival experience stand out for both artists and fans.

“Rocklahoma isn't just another festival. It's for the loud, the misfits, and the lifers. There's something about stepping on that stage, feeling that heat, that roar, and knowing these fans live and breathe rock 'n' roll the same way we do.”

Meanwhile, Godsmack singer Sully Erna is already looking forward to celebrating the anniversary with the Oklahoma crowd.

“Oklahoma! We can't wait to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Rocklahoma with all of you on Friday, September 4 with a full lineup of pure rock.”

Since launching in 2007, Rocklahoma has grown into one of the longest-running destination festivals dedicated to rock and metal in the United States. Each Labor Day weekend thousands of fans travel to Pryor for a combination of large-scale performances, campground gatherings, and a festival culture that has developed over two decades.

The event has built a reputation not only for its lineups but also for its community atmosphere. Many attendees return year after year, turning the sprawling campground into a temporary home for rock fans from across the country.

The 2026 edition of the festival will once again be hosted by SiriusXM personality Eddie Trunk, who has long been associated with the event and its celebration of rock music.

Weekend passes, VIP packages, camping options, and premium experiences are currently available through the official Rocklahoma website here

With a milestone anniversary and a lineup spanning multiple generations of artists, the 2026 festival is shaping up to be one of the biggest editions of Rocklahoma yet.
