Ice Nine Kills spread cavalier carnage with a knowing smile, crafting densely catchy songs that fuse extreme metal, melody, and punk with theatrical precision. Led by Spencer Charnas, the internationally acclaimed band broke through with The Silver Scream and The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood. Tracks like the gold-certified “A Grave Mistake,” “Hip to be Scared,” “The American Nightmare,” and franchise collaborations including “A Work of Art,” the official song from Terrifier 3, cemented Ice Nine Kills as one of modern metal’s most distinctive and culturally fluent forces.
Beyond the music, the band has built the INKverse into a sprawling ecosystem encompassing high-concept cinematic videos, graphic novels, mock true-crime books, the Psychos Only community, monthly “Nightmare on the 9th” merch drops, and the annual Silver Scream Convention. Handpicked by Metallica for their M72 World Tour and embraced by the horror community that shaped Charnas from childhood, Ice Nine Kills continue to blur the line between music, film, and fandom. “Twisting The Knife (ft. Mckenna Grace)” signals a bloody new chapter: the band stands 20 years on from their debut, with their most ambitious and devilish era yet unfolding.
