SACE6 UNLEASH NEW SINGLE “COVET” AHEAD OF NEW ALBUM “BRUTALIST

sace6 announced the release of their latest single, “covet”, ushering in the arrival of their upcoming album, “brutalist,” as their first release with Sumerian Records. The album is set to debut on Friday, May 8, 2026.
“covet” follows in the wake of their previous release, “ego,” which continues to climb among the band’s growing list of standout tracks.
This new release further cements sace6’s ability to seamlessly fuse together elements of pop and hardcore into something like you have never heard before. Ethereal, siren-like vocals glide over vibrant, bouncy synths throughout the verses before brutally colliding head-on with the crushing, breakdown-driven chorus.The playful contrast between the bright harmonies and the intensity of the aggressive instrumentals creates a striking division that allows each element to shine on its own while remaining cohesive to its counterpart.
Speaking on the track, the duo shared, "Our second single off of 'brutalist' - “covet” remaining anchored to the definition of the word this song is an audible representation for jealousy, wanting what/who someone else has to the point of being inept at moving within my own connection."
The single arrives alongside a visually complimentary music video that capitalizes on the simplicity of black and white aesthetics and hypnotic flashes to showcase the tonally divisive track. Set within a liminal space that caters to the colossal nature of the song, the video mirrors the track’s tonal contrasts to amplify its larger-than-life presence for the hauntingly beautiful tune.

As the first release under Sumerian Records, “brutalist” signals a bold beginning to this partnership. In anticipation of the new album, sace6 will be hitting the road as support for Dayseeker’s nearly sold out PALE MOONLIGHT tour with special guests Northland and Wind Walkers. The tour will make its way throughout North America starting in New York on May 1, and wrapping up the run in California on May 30. The band will then make appearances at all four previously announced Warped Tour dates, further proving that their reign of terror has only just begun.

While still early in their budding career, sace6 have already established themselves as one of the most compelling newcomers to hit the scene. Formed in 2024, the Northeastern duo has thrown themselves into a league of their own with their experimental, yet highly successful, pop-hardcore combination. While there have been plenty of groups before them that have pulled inspiration from every genre in the book, sace6 can somehow keep the essential elements of both pop and hardcore separate, while allowing them to play in harmony with each other. They are not simply combining the two into one, they are utilizing the contrast between what seems like polar opposite genres to dance with each other to create something completely new, a controlled chaos that is innovative and enticing.
