I See Stars Returns to the scene with "Spin The Wheel" Tour

After a decade of silence I See Stars have returned to the scene with a brand new album “The Wheel” and a much anticipated tour. Having gotten their start in 2006 with brothers Devin and Andrew Oliver, and their long time friends Jeff Valentine and Brent Allen over a love of electronic music. They then released their first album in 2009 “3-D”. Since then the band has been a staple for scene kids and -core fans. Their electronic infused sound has always managed to blend meaningful lyrics with fun, danceable, instrumentals. Since ‘09 the band released several more albums; “The End of the World Party”, “Digital Renegade”, “Renegades Forever”, “New Demons”, “Phases” and finally “Treehouse” in 2016. After releasing and touring their previous album, I See Stars had almost immediately begun writing their next, but with the hit of COVID it had almost entirely been scrapped.
Now the band is back and feeling better than ever. The entire album writing experience was driven by impulsivity and a deep sense of care. Allowing fate to direct the album made the entire thing more intentional.
“We would throw all the songs onto this website wheel,” remembers Andrew, “as well as some dumb, totally not creative thing in there that would like sidetrack us—but purposefully. It was this comedic approach that we were taking every day, where whatever the wheel told us to do, we’d do. It had these zany sound effects, but also created this weird vibe where we were like ‘We've just got to trust fate here.’ We're all obsessed with fate and letting things happen as they might, so the sound effect was an obvious thing for us to include—and then it took shape into a much larger concept.”
While tickets for the tour released on Friday October 11th, you can still join the ride at the link here, and VIP packages are available here. Each date will have limited availability for three different VIP packages available for purchase (tickets sold separately), with perks ranging from early entry, an exclusive VIP merchandise item, and a signed, limited-edition laminate with lanyard, to photos with the band, all the way up to watching the first two songs of the set from side stage.
The lineup for the tour is still TBA, ramping up the excitement for who we could be seeing, as they close out a short run with Wind Walkers, CVLTE, and Elijah across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines for 2025.
