STAIN THE CANVAS CALL OUT THE “VULTURES” OF THE WORLD IN NEW SINGLE

Stain The Canvas reflect on the societal fascination with tragedy in their new single “Vultures,” which was released on October 10, 2025 via InVogue Records.

As a precursor for their forthcoming album Honey Rot, which is set to arrive on December 12, the vicious track uncovers the ongoing issue with the media, and individuals’ obsession with turning tragedies into content. Their disdain for a world where pain becomes entertainment is evident through their brutal lyrics, which pairs well with the visualizer.

Guitarist for the band Lorenzo Accattoli described the unfortunately common inspiration behind the track.

"'Vultures' examines how crime news is exploited for profit and how audiences become consumed by the need to know every single detail, no matter how insignificant. This feeds a cycle of outrage and disturbing fascination that benefits media outlets while dehumanizing victims."

As the next and most exciting chapter in their career so far, Honey Rot will showcase the band’s relentless honesty through their innovative sound and emotionally charged lyricism. This 13 track record is their most anticipated release to date. While remaining true to their sound, the album will also have features from the likes of Klaus Noir, As December Falls, and Distant.

Kristen

Hi! My name is Kristen and I’m a photographer/videographer based out of Milwaukee, WI. I’ve never known life without a camera in my hands and music in my ears. Music is something that I always felt passionate about and fell in love with how music can connect so many people from all different walks of life. At a very young age, I found my mom’s VHS camcorder and filmed anything and everything. Later in life, I became a wedding videographer and continued to do that for 5 years. While doing this helped me hone my craft, I always had a pull in the back of my mind to music photography. That's when I decided to bring my two passions together and got into music photography. I hope to help continue bringing people together and amplifying the voices and stories of all of the people and artists I am inspired by, and those I have yet to find.
