The spooky metalcore boys in Dark Divine, are back and have released another haunting single, “Fading Away” out now via Thriller Records. “Fading Away” is one of the 13 tracks in their upcoming album Undead Melody releasing on May 29th, 2026

Dark Divine shifts focus with “Fading Away” from internal struggles to a broader lens on the world around us. The track explores the growing influence of misinformation, media manipulation, and the way digital culture shapes perception and division. Rather than offering easy answers, the band leans into the controversy by highlighting the emotional toll of trying to navigate a culture that has been built on reaction instead of connection.
Vocalist Anthony Martinez says, “Fading away is an analysis on how misinformation has been turned into a weapon to control how the masses perceive the world around them. Through the influence of the media, the government, and the internet, people have been reduced to labels and groups that are demonized to hit algorithms and garner viewership. These influences prey on the weakest, yet loudest minds to push narratives that aim to target and attack marginalized groups of people. It’s no longer about the story. It’s about the headline and the headline’s ability to grab attention and shares."
Instrumentally, the track delivers the traditional Dark Divine sound that has given this band the traction they deserve. Atmospheric elements build a tense foundation before giving way to driving riffs, thundering percussion, and a chorus that hits with both melodic weight and emotional intensity. The band curated this song beautifully, the restraint and release vocally and instrumentally is a phenomenal setup that allows the chorus to erupt into something cathartic and anthemic.
