The newly released track is called “Cemetery Sun,” and it has a special ring to it.
"The message is 'I love you so much that if I had to, I would totally obliterate myself for you to shine,'" the band shares about the track's deeper meaning. "I had watched Nosferatu, but 'Cemetery Sun' is the opposite of what a vampire does. I'd willingly not drain your life, because I know how draining I can be."
“Cemetery Sun” is a very deep & intense song. Knowing what the band has to say about it, along with the lyrics alone, it really is about not hurting the one you love, even if that's the extent it takes, and yearning to undo the damage. Song lyrics that really resonate with me & solidify the meaning behind the song are
“I fade away, I threw myself into the sun
I found a way to undo all the damage done
Cure the heart and break the skin”
“I cannot define what it means to be right outside the lines
What it means to be picture perfect, look the other way.”

The music video to “Cemetery Sun” aligns with the vibe of the song like a perfect puzzle. While watching it, it reminded me of having a fever dream. It takes place outside on the top of a highway, and throughout a rock tunnel with a very grainy quality and fish-eye lenses. As the video goes, it switches from the outdoors to inside a venue while Greyhaven performs, sticking to the same grainy, grungy vibe. The crowd is going so hard for them, moshing like there is no tomorrow.
