Modern grunge superstars, Return To Dust, are resurrecting rock n’ roll through their modern infusion of 90s alternative grit with a new age edge. Comprised of vocalist and guitarist Matty Bielawski, bassist Graham Stanush, guitarist Sebastian Gonzalez, and drummer London Hudson, this four piece outfit continues to breathe new life into a genre subset that has captivated listeners for decades. As they continue to build on the foundation laid before them, the band honors the influences of the past while forging an identity that is all their own.
“Sweet Escape” is yet another powerhouse addition to the band’s growing catalog. In true Return To Dust fashion, the track features smooth vocal harmonies that are dowsed with a gritty texture and immaculate guitar work that feels like the guitars are singing their own siren song. This dominating anthem transmits nothing but raw emotion with a polished execution.
When speaking on the track, the band simply stated, "Sometimes the hardest thing to do is to stop holding on to a losing situation."

Since the robust track is bold enough on its own, the accompanying music video keeps it simple to let the song truly shine. Rather than relying on elaborate visuals or cinematic effects to tell a story, the video takes a different approach to tell the story of Return To Dust. Live performance footage captures the band in their natural element as they bring an undeniable energy to every stage they inhabit. Shots of passionate crowd members singing and bouncing along at their shows illustrate the intense connection the band builds with their fanbase. These energetic moments are intertwined with candid glimpses of life on the road, offering an authentic look into the band’s everyday life as they rise to stardom.

The band has had a magnetic start to their career, drawing in fans from all over the world with their modern spin on the classic grunge sound. One of their more recent singles, “BORED,” scored them an iHeartRadio Music Awards “On The Verge” award and sent them to the top of the Active Rock Radio charts. Since then, the band has taken their own creative take on OutKast’s chart-busting hit “Hey Ya!” This Grammy-winning hit is considered in the top 10 “Greatest Songs of All Time List” (2021) according to Rolling Stone. Return To Dust put their own unique spin on the hit track, turning it into an entirely new experience and furthering the depth of the underlying darkness to the song.

Return To Dust will be bringing their iconic sound to fans all over the globe across multiple tours and festival appearances. They’ll join as support on the Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle Europe tour and reunite with Yungblud on some rescheduled dates from a previous tour. The band will then wrap up the year as support on the Theory Of A Deadman and Sevendust U.S. tour this August and September.
