Aviana Unleash Emotion and Power with New Single “WORLDS PULSE” Featuring Imminence’s Eddie Berg

Swedish metal outfit Aviana continue to push the boundaries of modern heavy music with their latest single “WORLDS PULSE.” Featuring a stunning guest appearance from IMMINENCE frontman Eddie Berg, who contributes both vocals and violin, the track is a stirring blend of crushing intensity and cinematic beauty.

The release also marks a major milestone for the band, officially opening up pre-orders for their upcoming full-length album VOID, set for release on October 31.

Fronted by Joel Holmqvist, Aviana, have carved out a space for themselves as one of the most forward-thinking acts in the heavy scene. Known for seamlessly blending atmospheric soundscapes with brutal breakdowns and raw, emotive vocal delivery, the band has built serious momentum following their 2022 record CORPORATION, which has already racked up over 47.5 million streams globally. Since then, Aviana have been on a roll, dropping a string of powerful singles including “DELIRIUM,” “FATHER,” “STORM ABLAZE,” and “EVERMORE” which have collectively pulled in over 3 million Spotify streams and helped the band surpass 360,000 monthly listeners. With VOID, Aviana seem poised to take an even bigger leap. Described as their most ambitious and emotionally charged work to date, the record promises to explore themes of despair, resilience, and transformation, all wrapped in the band’s signature mix of intensity and atmosphere.

If “WORLDS PULSE” is any indication, VOID is shaping up to be a defining moment for Aviana and a standout release in the heavy music world this year.

THE DARK.FM

The Dark.FM have never been shy about bending genre lines, but with their new track “[zippermouth],” the LA-based outfit seems to have tossed the rulebook entirely. The result? A snarling, pulse-driven track that feels like it was ripped straight from a fever dream set in a neon-lit underworld.

According to frontman Craig Johns, this is the first time the band went all-in with zero compromise.

“We’ve always done our own thing,” Johns says, “but there was still that little voice saying, ‘Make sure the core kids like it.’ This time, that voice didn’t show up. So ‘[zippermouth]’ is really the first fully The Dark.FM track. As a singer, it’s more what I love doing—not just what I can do.”

The band is calling it “late night metal,” even jokingly dubbing it “Keanu Reeves metal” — a vibe built on lust, secrecy, immediacy, and just a touch of cinematic menace. And they’re not wrong. The song surges with restless energy, all glossy aggression and glitchy electronics. There's even a cheeky nod in their own words: “Listen to that bridge though. Drum machine goes crazy.”

Following the breakout success of their debut The Dark EP — which has racked up over 2.5 million streams globally — The Dark.FM haven’t wasted time. Warped Tour? Check. German headline shows? Check. A full Reeperbahn Festival showcase earlier this year? Yep.

“[zippermouth]” feels like a turning point — dangerous, sleek, and entirely on their own terms. Whether you’re into it for the crunching beats, the whispered hooks, or the feeling that something might catch fire at any moment, The Dark.FM are clearly in a lane of their own now.
