Trivium Releases New Single “Bury Me With My Screams”

GRAMMY-nominated powerhouse, Trivium, recently released a fiery new single, “Bury Me With My Screams, leading the way for their upcoming EP, Struck Dead, set to release on October 31 via Roadrunner Records.

Bury Me With My Screams” marks Trivium's return to the metal scene after their release of "In the Court of the Dragon" in 2021. The single not only marks Trivium's return, but it also marks their first track filmed within their newly revamped Hangar Studios - a former aircraft hangar turned into a full-blown music lab.

Struck Dead will feature 3 songs, “Bury Me With My Screams”, “Struck Dead (Pain Is Easier To Remember”, and “Six Walls Surround Me”

The music video for “Bury Me With My Screams” captures the band unleashing explosive riffs, raw vocal power, and shows the construction of the Hanger, which provides the listener with an immersive experience.

Here's what bassist Paolo Gregoletto has to say about TheHanger and “Bury Me With My Screams”:

"In 2023, we decided it was finally time to take the next step with the Hangar space we purchased — it was time to turn it into a full studio," says Gregoletto. "We brought in designer Roger D'Arcy, thanks to an introduction from Mark Lewis, and set out on a year-long build. While construction was underway, we were deep in rehearsals for The Poisoned Ascendancy Tour, celebrating Ascendancy's 20th anniversary. What started as an idea to release one single during the tour quickly grew into two, then three, as we kept writing while we were waiting for the build-out to be completed."

Furthermore, "During that time, the energy of revisiting Ascendancy started bleeding into these new songs. Matt poured a lot of his struggles from the past year into the music, and we used the writing process as a cathartic release. Those sessions evolved into a three-song EP that we're incredibly proud of, and we can't wait to debut 'Bury Me With My Screams' live at Bloodstock Open Air Festival."

October 31 does not just mark the release of their new EP, Struck Dead, it also kicks off their Ascend Above The Ashes Tour, starting in Myrtle Beach and ending on December 14 with a hometown show in Orlando that you do not want to miss. Special guests for the tour will include Jinjer and Heriot
